AGR Resin of Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Fukang Energy Company successfully passed the National Standard Project Evaluation

Recently, Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Fukang Energy Company (hereinafter referred to as "Fukang Energy ") acrylic copolymerized polyvinyl chloride resin (hereinafter referred to as" AGR resin ") successfully passed the national standard project evaluation, marking the first independent R & D production of Sino-Thai chemical products by the national standard project.

AGR resin is a, AGR resin is a special anti-scour polyvinyl chloride resin developed for the disadvantage of low impact strength of universal polyvinyl chloride resin. It is a modified polyvinyl chloride resin formed by in-situ grafting polymerization of polyacrylic acid elastomer and vinyl chloride monomer. It has excellent properties such as anti-scour, wear resistance, aging resistance, good insulation, flame retardant and corrosion resistance of engineering plastics. It can be used as raw material or ingredient to process high strength plastic products. It is a new polymer material with broad prospect, so it has become a hot spot of research at home and abroad. But there is no uniform standard for domestic AGR resin products. The establishment of the national standard not only solves the problem that the product has no standard, but also plays an active role in promoting the development of PVC industry and is conducive to market order.

Fukang Energy Research and Development Center, deputy director of Zhang Delong said, Fukang Energy Research and Development Center introduced high impact PVC composite resin technology from Hebei University of Technology in August 2016, based on small scale research and development technology, independently designed and built a set of acrylic emulsion polymerization production line. The R & D center will continue to promote the establishment of new product standards, gradually form a standard system, and provide innovative driving force for the high quality development of enterprises.
